BridgeSpeakers’ President visits Hiroshima Toastmasters Club
Our current club President, Leo Sakaguchi, visited Hiroshima Toastmasters, our long-term partner in #Japan! On 11th-12th October 2022 he and another Toastmaster, Milena Dzialuk, received a wonderful welcome from our Hiroshima fellow Toastmasters.
They started with a visit to the A-bomb dome (#HiroshimaPeaceMemorial) in the city that showed the importance of our international connection and the significance of the history. Further visits throughout the city and the historical #Itsukushima floating gate on #Miyajima Island rounded up the visits of the city and its surroundings. A common dinner with Hiroshima Toastmaster Club members gave a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Hiroshima-style #Okonomiyaki and other Japanese delights paired with many conversations on the trends and challenges for #Toastmasters clubs around the world. We would like to thoroughly thank our friends from #HiroshimaToastmastersClub (HTC) for the kind reception.
