D95 Excellence in Education Club Award

The “D95 Excellence in Education Award” will be given to the club, with the highest number of educational awards a club has achieved in the year up and until 24th April 2022.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Each club can participate
  • Clubs with the highest number of educational awards achieved in the year up
  • Sorted by the number of educational awards per Club member.
  • Key Date 24th April 2022.
D95 Excellence in Membership Growth Award

The “D95 Excellence in Membership Growth Award” will be given to the club with the highest membership growth

Eligibility criteria:

  • Each base club can participate
  • The starting point for achieving this award is having a net growth of at least 12 members (base plus 12)
  • Sorted by the net growth rate percentage
  • First to third clubs by ranking will be recognized.
  • Key date is the 24th April 2022
D95 Phoenix Award

The “D95 Phoenix of the Year Award” will be given to a club, which magnificently rises up from the ashes of low membership during the district year to charter strength.

Eligibility criteria:

  • New clubs chartered during the current Toastmaster year 2021/2022 are not eligible for this award.
  • Clubs with a club base membership of less than 20 members on July 1, 2021
  • The club has to grow to 20 or more members
  • Net growth at least 5 members
  • Key date is the 24th April 2022

     

    D95 Excellence in Offline PR Award

    The “D95 Excellence in Offline PR Award” will be given to the member who has produced a vast amount of PR in offline media 

    Eligibility: All members, District Officers included. 

    • Newspaper articles (offline and online) 
    • Radio interviews, reports etc.
    • Television interviews (offline and online)
    • One point for newspaper articles and 2 points for radio or television interviews/reports.
    • Key Date 24th April 2022
    D95 Best of 5 Club Awards

    During these times, we all need to focus on rebuilding our clubs and our organization by attracting and adding new members, along with membership retention.
    We would like to therefore introduce you to our latest award: Best of 5!

    Clubs need to complete any 3 out of below requirements to earn 100 € club:

    • Conduct a Speechcraft or Youth Leadership Program
    • Conduct an Open House (needs to be announced to the trio prior to execution)
    • 1 Member of the club completes Pathways Mentoring
    • Complete 1 Membership Building Campaign (Beat the clock, Smedley Award, Talk up Toastmasters!)
    • Be a host club for a prospective club
    D95 Club Builder of the Year Award

    The “D95 Club Builder of the Year Award” will be given to a leader, who was actively involved in chartering clubs. 

    Eligibility criteria:

    • All clubs chartered during the current Toastmaster year 2021/2022 are eligible for this award.
    • Eligibility: all charter members of the newly chartered club, club sponsors or club mentors.
    • Clubs with shortest chartering time from demo meeting to club chartering 
    • Clubs with highest rate of charter members in this Toastmasters year.
    • Recommendation letter from a member of a related new chartered Club.
    • Nomination takes place by filling out a form available to all chartered club members between 24th April 2022 – End date 1th May 2022. 
    • Nomination for Club Builder of the Year
    D95 Area Director of the Year Award

    24th April 2022We would like to recognize one of our Area Directors with the “D95 Area of the Year Award”. This tradition is a meaningful way so show the District’s gratitude to a person, who has supported their Area and their Clubs in a very engaging way.

     

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Area Director Visit Report to be filed for Round#1 on/before Nov 30th 2020, Round#2 on/before 24th April 2022 for all clubs in their Area.
    • Must have trained at least 4 Club Officers of each club of their Area during both Club Officer Training periods.  By 31st August, 2021 and 29th February, 2022.
    • Attended at least 3 of the 4 DECM meetings (2 Online and 2 in person). Those who attend the most have a higher rank.
    • Eligibility: Open to all Area Directors
    • Key date: 24th April 2022 (Data will be extracted on the date of Month ending sales.)
    • Recommendation letter from the Division Director.
    • Nomination takes place by filling out this form (available between 24th April 2022 – End date 1th May 2022) 
    D95 Division Director of the Year Award

    Likewise, we would like to recognize one of the District 95 Division Directors as the “D95 Division Director of the Year”.  

     Eligibility criteria:

    • Area Director Visit Reports for clubs in the Division to be filed for Round#1 on/before Nov 30th 2021, Round#2 on/before 24th April 2022.
    • Attended at least 3 of the 4 DECM meetings (2 Online and 2 in person). Those who attend the most have a higher rank.
    • Submission of COT attendance to PQD by Aug 31st 2021 & Feb 28st 2022
    • Eligibility: Open to all Division Directors
    • Key date: 24th April 2022 (Data will be extracted month ending closing date.)
    • Recommendation or nominations from other Toastmaster members
    • The Award Committee will choose the Division Director of the Year.
    • Nomination takes place by filling out this form (available between 24th April 2022 – End date 1th May 2022)
    D95 Toastmaster of the Year Award

    The “D95 Toastmaster of the Year Award” may be given to that member, who makes a significant contribution to the goals and mission of the District:

     

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Current members of the District Executive Committee are not eligible for this award.
    • Eligibility: Any member in good standing of District 95
    • This member will have worked a.o. with Membership Building and/or Membership Retention:

    o   New members’ sponsor.

    o   Conducted trainings/educationals to promote club membership retention.

    o   Conducted/coordinated membership campaigns on any level

    o   Club Mentor

    o   Club Sponsor

    o   Club Coach
    o   Participated in Demo meetings

    • Worked on Education and Training

    o   Achieved at least one legacy education award or achieved at least two Pathways education levels.
    o   Participated in Club officer trainings.
    o   Conducted an education/webinar/training session at an Area event
    o   Conducted an education/webinar/training session at a Division event
    o   Conducted an education/webinar/training session at a District event
    o   Conducted or organized a Club Officer training
    o   Youth Leadership Coordinator / Speechcraft Coordinator / Success Leadership or Success Communication Coordinator

    • Worked on Commitment and Support

    o   Previous year:

            District Conference Chairman/Coordinator
            Chief judge/contest chair/judge/contestant

    o   Current year

            Area/Division/District assistant roles
            Other conference or District event chairman/coordinator

            Support Division or Area conferences by taking over chief judge/contest chair/judge
            Division, Area contestant

    • Provide a one-page recommendation letter why this candidate deserves this award.
    • Nominations are allowed by any member in good standing
    • Nomination takes place by filling out this form (available between 24th April 2022 – End date 1th May 2022)

      Welcome to District 95 annual awards 

      All of these awards will be handed over at the Hall of Fame event during our Spring District Conference

      Members of the District 95 Core Team will choose the most honored members or clubs for the D95 OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2021/2022.

      Members of the D95 Core Team are not eligible for any award during their time of duty.

      We will activate a Google form to send your nominations for each Award on 24th April 2022
