Book Club Initiative, join us!
All members of District 95 are invited to come together 5 times a year to explore a book previously set for discussion. Discover the many facets of leadership, delve into the secrets of great leaders, develop an awareness and tools that serve us in our evolution as leaders both within and outside Toastmasters.
Leadership is definitely serious stuff. Leadership is even more effective when it brings us joy and happiness. We want to learn about the light and bright side of this fascinating topic.
Yes, it’s on Sunday. Yes, it’s in the morning. And yes, it’s great!
March’s Book: “Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts.” by Brené Brown.
„Leadership is not about titles, status and power over people. Leaders are people who hold themselves accountable for recognising the potential in people and ideas, and developing that potential. This is a book for everyone who is ready to choose courage over comfort, make a difference and lead.“
