Talk Up Toastmasters! Membership Campaign Program Talk up Toastmasters Season is upon us! Get your best membership building ideas in place and gear up to win Talk Up Toastmasters award. What is it? Can your club add five new, dual, or reinstated members between February 1 and March 31? Applications and payments for members who join between August 1 and September 30 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than September 30. Each member’s join date as listed on the application must be for August or September. The addition of transfer and charter members does not count toward “Talk Up Toastmasters” credit. When Does It Run? Program Dates: February 1, 2023 – March 31, 2023 What’s In It For My Club? You’ll qualify to receive a “Smedley Award” ribbon to display on your club’s banner. Plus!! qualifying clubs earn a special discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. (fine print: The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.) Book Club Initiative, join us! All members of District 95 are invited to come together 5 times a year to explore a book previously set for discussion. Discover the many facets of leadership, delve into the secrets of great leaders, develop an awareness and tools that serve us in our evolution as leaders both within and outside Toastmasters. Leadership is definitely serious stuff. Leadership is even more effective when it brings us joy and happiness. We want to learn about the light and bright side of this fascinating topic.
