The “Excellence in PR Award” will be given to the member who has produced a significant amount of PR in edited media (media not under your control).

Strategic Leadership Award 1st Half (June - December 2025)
The “Strategic Leadership Award” recognizes the club that has significantly advanced its development and strength through strategic thinking and forward-looking leadership.
Eligibility criteria:
- Submit Club Success Plan by August 31
- 7/7 club officers trained by August 31
- One DCP goal by August 31

- Gain at least 3 new members in February 2026

Club Building Champion Division
To qualify for a Club Building Champion Division and to hold the traveling cup with your Division’s name engraved on it for the next Toastmasters year, charter more new clubs in your Division than any other Division in the District.
Chartering documents should be sent to the World Headquarters no later than April 15 of the current Toastmasters Year.

Special Awards
Area Director of the Year
D95 would like to recognize one of our Area Directors with the “Area Director of the Year Award”. This tradition is a meaningful way to show the District’s gratitude to an individual who has supported their Area and their Clubs in an exceptional way.
Eligibility criteria:
- Area Director Visit Reports must be completed for a minimum of 75% of its Clubs by 30th November (Round 1) and by 15th April (Round 2).
- Must have trained at least 4 Club Officers of each club of their Area during both Club Officer Training periods (completed by 31st August and end of February).
- Attended at least 3 of the 4 District Executive Committee Meetings (DECM).
- Must have received 2 District Officer Training credits.
Division Director of the Year
D95 would like to recognize one of the District 95 Division Directors as the “Division Director of the Year”. This tradition is a meaningful way to show the District’s gratitude to an individual who has supported their Division and their Area Directors in a very engaging way
Eligibility criteria:
- For each Area in the Division, Visit Reports must be completed for a minimum of 75% of its Clubs by 30th November (Round 1) and by 15th April (Round 2).
- Attended at least 3 of the 4 DECM.
- Must have received at least 2 District Officer Training credits.
- Submitted COT Attendance of all Club Officers to TMI or PQD by 31st Aug and 29th Feb.
- Higher percentage of proxies from the Division for Annual General Meeting (International Convention) results in higher ranking.
Toastmaster of the Year
The “Toastmaster of the Year Award” may be given to that member who makes a significant contribution to the goals and mission of the District:
The member should also have contributed in areas such as:
- Membership growth and retention
Examples include sponsoring new clubs, mentoring clubs, coaching clubs, running membership campaigns, supporting demo meetings or conducting membership-related training.
- Education and training
Examples include completing additional Pathways levels, mentoring members, participating in or organizing Club Officer Training, coordinating Speechcraft/Youth Leadership programs or delivering training sessions at Area, Division or District events.
- Commitment and support
Examples include serving in District, Division or Area leadership/support roles, helping organize conferences or contests, acting as Chief Judge or Contest Chair or competing in contests.
Additional consideration is given to members who support the District Mission and Strategy or who have contributed consistently to District success over several years.
