General Information

The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest quality of educational achievement in Toastmasters.

The following images shows the road to achieving this educational distinction through Pathways.

Members earn it by completing dozens of speech projects, serving leadership at the club and district level, supporting a new or
struggling club, impacting the community with Toastmasters, and leading a major project to benefit an organization.

1 Year (can be two or 6 month consecutive or non-consecutive terms)

Youth Leadership or Speechcraft Workshop

Commitment

6 months to 2 years (depending on role)

Leadership, mentorship, training, collaboration with fellow contributors and participants and providing effective feedback.
